Summary
The Digital Channel Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing our digital presence and ensuring seamless customer and employee experiences across all digital channels, including but not limited to websites, digital applications, mobile apps, and online banking systems. This person plays a lead role in shaping and executing digital channel strategies in collaboration with the Digital Channels Manager, Product Managers, and Operations, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. The Digital Channel Specialist will work closely with product managers, product marketing, internal and external project teams, third-party vendors, bank division employees, and cross-functional departments to implement and optimize digital strategies.
This is a Corporate position which may be located at an available bank division location across our nine-state footprint in AZ, CO, ID, MT, NV, TX, UT, WA, or WY. The entry rate for this position is $34.14 + / per hour (calculated for Kalispell, MT).
All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background.
WA Applicants ONLY range: Wenatchee, WA $38.66 to $58.01 an hour. Spokane, WA $38.14 to $57.20 an hour.
Description
- Collaborate with the Digital Channels Manager, Product Managers and Operations to develop and execute digital channel strategies that align with business goals.
- Lead internal and external technical teams in the effort to develop and implement new digital capabilities.
- Research, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to digital channels.
- Drive continuous improvement of digital channels based on monitoring and analysis of digital channel performance, end-user feedback and emerging digital trends.
- Support the technical development, implementation, testing and troubleshooting of digital platforms, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and performance optimization.
- Ensure smooth implementation of digital channel changes in coordination with Operational staff, including identifying and documenting procedural changes, and developing support and release documentation.
- Conduct regular reviews of digital channels and support requests from internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams on digital channel usage and best practices, proactively identifying knowledge gaps and developing targeted training to enhance user adoption and effectiveness.
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by the due date.
About You
Qualifications
- Education
- Required: Bachelors Degree in Information Systems (IS), Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience
- Required: 3 - 5 years in digital banking management, digital channel development, UX/UI design, or a related role.
- Knowledge Of: Strong understanding of digital banking/origination platforms and technologies, UX/UI design principles, and web/mobile app technology.
- Preferred: Advanced Experience with digital banking products and services (online/mobile banking, digital account and loan origination, and/or payment processing systems).
- Preferred: Knowledge of banking industry regulations and compliance standards.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in project management and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written and oral communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to interact calmly and professionally with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds at various levels within and outside of the organization.
- Regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
Additional Requirements
- Travel: Up to 10% travel required; ability to drive and have proper licensing. May involve 2 days per month by automobile, air travel, rental vehicles, and lodging in public facilities.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on geographic location.
