Overview

The Excalibur Group is currently seeking an Operations Analyst for a local contract in Washington, DC. Will be subject to a background check prior to employment.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Independently reviews policies and operating procedures, developing innovative processes and procedures to enhance operations.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data (incident reports, emergency response times, resource allocation, etc.) to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Support risk and threat assessments to identify gaps in preparedness and operational readiness.
• Collaborates with managers and employees to support change management initiatives and implement changes.
• Trains employees on new systems or policies and evaluates the effectiveness of new processes.
• Provide support in managing operational resources, systems, and technologies to ensure readiness during emergencies.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree
• If you do not have a Bachelor's degree, the following may be substituted:
  • High school diploma plus four (4) years of relevant experience
  • Associate degree plus two (2) years of relevant experience
  • Professional certification may be substituted for an additional year of relevant experience.
• Five (5) years of previous experience as an Operations Analyst
• Experience in emergency management, homeland security, public safety, or related field preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines

Pay

• $60/hour

Hours of Operation

Mon. – Fri. 8:30am – 5pm; Except Federal Holidays. On-site position.
