Overview

The Krannert School of Physical Therapy at the University of Indianapolis invites applications for a full-time (10-month), tenure-track faculty position at the rank of assistant or associate professor. We are looking for an individual who wishes to join an outstanding faculty at the nationally recognized Krannert School of Physical Therapy.

Requirements / Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: Preferred teaching experience in pediatrics and ability to teach in other areas of the DPT curriculum; Preferred experience as a successful academic and/or clinical instructor; Evidence of an ongoing or developing scholarly agenda
  • Education: A terminal academic doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution (e.g. PhD, EdD, DHS) preferred. Doctoral candidates (ABD) or candidates with a DPT and exceptional teaching experience may be considered.
  • Licenses/Certifications/Credentials: Eligibility and intention to obtain an Indiana Physical Therapy licensure

Supervisory Responsibilities

Opportunities for teaching and scholarship in areas of expertise across the entry-level DPT, orthopedic residency, and/or physical therapist assistant programs. Responsibilities will also include student advising in the areas of academics and research and service to the University, College, and community.
