Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician - Primary Care

  2026-06-07     Providence Service     Spokane,WA
Description:

Program OverviewAre you a therapist who thrives at the intersection of mind and body? Who knows the power of collaboration in delivering high quality care? Who believes in the power of the right intervention, at the right moment, from the right person? Our Integrated Behavioral Health program operates across Providence primary care and pediatric clinics, offering two models of care. In Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH), you'll practice with a wide scope, meeting patients in the clinic where they already show up — no waitlists, no siloed referrals, just meaningful connections with people who might never walk through the door of a traditional therapy office. In Collaborative Care (CoCM), you'll provide episodic, structured therapy alongside psychiatric consultation, supporting patients through a team‑based, measurement‑informed approach. Both models ask the same things of you: agility, a broad clinical toolkit, and the conviction that focused, well‑timed therapeutic work can shift the course of someone's health. You'll pivot across populations and presentations, draw on a wide range of interventional skills, and deliver care that treats the whole person. And you won't do it alone. You'll join a dedicated team of behavioral health professionals — working shoulder‑to‑shoulder with physicians, nurses, and care team members — who get it: the work, the pace, and the difference this model makes for patients who need us most. If you're adaptable, clinically sharp, and ready to practice at the top of your scope — we're ready for you.Mental Health Therapist LMFTRequired QualificationsMaster's Degree in Family TherapyUpon hire: Washington Marriage and Family Therapist LicensePreferred Qualifications1 year Master's level practicum in a behavioral health setting in an accredited college or university internshipAdditional experience in substance use treatment settingSalary Range: Min: $37.04, Max: $57.51Licensed Professional CounselorRequired QualificationsMaster's Degree in Counseling, Counseling Psychology or related fieldUpon hire: Washington Mental Health Counselor LicensePreferred Qualifications1 year Master's level practicum in a behavioral health setting in an accredited college or university internshipAdditional experience in substance use treatment setting2 years related experienceSalary Range: Min: $37.04, Max: $57.51Social Worker LCSWRequired QualificationsSocial Work (MSW) in an education program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education and approved by the Secretary based upon nationally recognized standardsUpon hire: Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License (Vendor Managed) OR Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker Temporary License (Vendor Managed)2 years in the field or in a related areaPreferred Qualifications2 years Ambulatory clinic or hospital experienceSalary Range: Min: $37.04, Max: $57.51Benefits & Compensation$5,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible rehire and external candidates who meet all conditions for payment — in addition to the comprehensive benefits and compensation package offered by Providence beginning on the first day of employment. Our best‑in‑class benefits are uniquely designed to support you and your family in staying well, growing professionally, and achieving financial security.
