78783BRJob Title:Maintenance 1st Class - Cheney, WADepartment/Function:Operations: Manufacturing, Production, Maintenance, UtilitiesJob Description:Maintenance 1st Class-Cheney, WAThis a full-time, Union hourly position with high opportunities for overtimeStarting hourly rate depending on experience 19.59 - 27.61Position Summary:Engage in facility and equipment maintenance in accordance with plant policies and procedures. Ensure smooth production operation during shift.Job Responsibilities:Actively participate in all installation, repair, and upkeep of equipment within the facilities in conjunction with facility managementCarry out inspections of equipment to identify and resolve issues in alignment with Preventive Maintenance Plans.Effectively and efficiently troubleshoot and repair equipment as neededDemonstrate basic welding layout and fabrication skills.Hydraulic, pneumatic, and vibration monitoring knowledge a plus.The facility operates around the clock so the Maintenance colleague will be on call, and may be called into work for after hour emergencies.Assist in updating, developing and implementing maintenance programs/proceduresCollaborate required reports and maintaining all necessary records and documentation related to predictive/preventative maintenance, planning and scheduling for the facilitiesEnsure Health and Safety polices are complied withMaintain food safety standards in accordance with Quality Assurance program.Assist in completing operational tasks at the facilities when requiredJob Requirements:Role requires 0-3 years of experience as maintenance technician in an agricultural or industrial processing environmentSolid understanding of the technical aspects of industrial agricultural processing equipment, fabrication / welding, and electrical systems.Must demonstrate high level problem solving and team working skillsStrong self-motivation, organizational, and inter-personal skillsInter-personal skills include handling conflict, motivation, instructing and training personnel in a respectable and fair manner.The physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted, wearing a respirator.ADM requires the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and a background check.REF:78783BRReq/Job ID:78783BRCity:CheneyState:WA - WashingtonRef ID:#LI-DNI:ADM unlocks the power of nature to enrich the quality of life.
