**Job Summary:**

The Spokane Club is looking for **Banquet/Restaurant Servers** who are passionate about hospitality, have the love for service and are driven to genuinely make things better for everyone. As Banquet/Restaurant Server, you will play an important role in the daily operations of the banquet facilities and other areas of the Food and Beverage Department. This position will provide prompt, courteous and exceptional food and beverage service to banquet and restaurant guests. You will ensure the highest quality of product and service standards while maximizing guest satisfaction and overall operational goals.

**Job Responsibilities:**

* Be incredibly friendly, customer centric, and love to smile. Accommodating attitude while interacting with customers.

* Clears table after service. Removes trays of dirty dishes, silverware and glassware to kitchen for cleaning.

* Maintains cleanliness of banquet rooms, banquet hallways, storage, and service areas.

* Refresh rooms at break; remove dirty cups/glasses, cleans trash cans, replenishes water pitchers, replaces tablecloths, etc.

* Complete physical set-up and/or breakdown, cleaning and clearing of banquet or catering function rooms, to include tables, chairs, props, centerpieces, audio visual equipment and platforms/stages according to banquet event order. Stores all banquet items, furniture and equipment.

* Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.

* Flexibility in schedule, to include working nights, weekends and holidays; be able to multi-task; team-player; work in a fast-paced environment; stand, walk, lift, pull, and push for extended periods of time during shift; and participate in safety and security practices.

* Always provides a professional image through appearance and dress.

* Greet members as they are seated in the dining room

* Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service.

* Demonstrate working knowledge of menu selections, including specials

* Accurately take member orders; efficiently operate point of sale (POS) system

* Serve members using proper serving guideline

* Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed

* Clean, stock, and maintain workstation throughout shift

* Re-stock service ware for meal shift

* Notify Restaurant Manager of food or service-related member concerns, and work with him/her to resolve issues

* Present bill and accepts payment

* Ensure guest satisfaction of dining experience

* Reconcile tickets with end-of-shift summary

* Follow all safety and sanitation policies

**Qualifications:**

* Must be at least 18 years of age

* Minimum two years banquet or food and beverage experience. Previous banquet experience preferred.

* Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to effectively present information in a one-on-one and small group situations to members and other employees of the organization.

* Valid Washington State Food & Beverage Permit and Class 12 or Class 13 Servers Permit
