Food Services Worker - Food and Nutrition Services Centralia , Washington **Description:**

**Providence is calling for a Food Services Worker (0.7 FTE, 28 hours per week Variable Shift) to work in Food and Nutrition Services at Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA.**

The Food Services Worker prepare and serve therapeutic diets for patient meals and nourishment, ensures compliance to diet orders, and generally supports the food service activities

**In this position you will:**

* Comply with food services sanitation and cleanliness requirements

* Practice good safety habits within the hospital and the Nutrition Services Department

* Accurately follows therapeutic diet prescription and texture orders

* Prepare and serves cold food that is appealing and flavorful

* Accurately receives and carries out telephone orders and other changes

* Allocate time to assure completed daily work

* Restock and cleans area during and at the end of the shift

* Participate in the orientation of new employees

**Qualifications:**

**Required** **qualifications for this position include:**

* Food Handlers Permit, or within 14 days of hire

**Preferred** **qualifications for this position includes:**

* Training in quantity food preparation

* Six (6) months institutional food service experience
