WDS is currently hiring a 1st shift Yard Jockey /Yard Driver for the new warehouse we are opening up in Lakewood, WA!

This position will be Monday through Friday first shift.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced, physical position that will keep you moving all day long as you ready freight for customers. **Your typical day looks like:**

* Operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner

* Unloading, palletizing, picking, and loading loose cartons

* Providing daily preventative maintenance checks on equipment as required

* Escalating equipment mechanical issues to Lead Equipment Operator

* Unloading/Loading freight in a safe and effective manner

* Accurately verifying freight for quality and quantity

* Performing cycle counts as required

* Communicating with others appropriately

* Other duties as assigned

**The ideal candidate will possess:**

* Previous experience operating forklifts and reach-lifts

* 1+ years experience as a Yard Jockey / Yard Driver

* Ability to backup accurately and safely in tight spots

* Willingness to work in all weather conditions

* Warehouse experience preferred

* Experience with warehouse management systems helpful, Synapse experience a plus

* Experience with warehouse RF equipment preferred

* Knowledge of safety regulations

* High School Diploma or GED required
