**Clarkston, WA**

**POSITION: Painter**

**DEPARTMENT: Operations**

**REPORTS TO: Paint Supervisor**

**FLSA STATUS: Hourly- Grade 3**

**DATE: April 27, 2021**

**Position Summary:** Team members will be responsible for painting all boats

**Roles and Responsibilities:**

+ Operates and maintains paint guns and equipment

+ Final sand wipe down before paint

+ Untapping of boat after paint

+ Installing flotation foam in boats

+ Repaint and fix paint

+ Fixing imperfections in paint**Required and Preferred Qualifications:**

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders for 10+hour shift

+ Able to mix paint from mixing bank

+ Working knowledge of a paint gun HVLP

+ Ability to wear a respirator

+ Ability to work in extreme heat

+ Ability to follow established safety processes

+ Detailed and organized.

+ Self starter, team player with good safety awareness.**Work Environment:** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, see, sit. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, balance, and use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp, and move a variety of materials. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level in moderate to high in the manufacturing setting. Physical exertion is required.
