The Constant Observer is responsible for providing a safe environment while providing direct observation for an assigned patient experiencing confusion, suicidal ideation, or for the avoidance of restraints, etc. This position works in conjunction with the RN assigned to the patient. Work situations are confined to patient?s rooms and/or Observation Suite and require alertness, constant attention to the patient, and skill in reacting to changing situations and circumstances in an appropriate manner. External contacts include physicians, patients, and families. Internal contacts include clinical staff and management.

**Minimum Requirements:**

Previous patient care experience preferred

**Education/Licenses/Certifications:**

Certified Nursing Assistant Certification/Licensure

Current CPR Certification
