As a Facilities Technician II, you will be is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs. This person will carry out construction, remodeling, and renovation projects as assigned by the Facilities Manager.

Pay Range: $20.46 - $28.65 Hourly

The above pay range is a guideline. For candidates who meet the qualifications of the job, the Mission's Compensation Philosophy is to target the 40th - 50th percentile of the range. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final pay rate to be offered. Factors include (but are not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training as well as internal equity, market and other business considerations.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM.

How you will serve

  • Perform general repair and maintenance in the following areas: Plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, sheetrock repair, flooring, HVAC systems, and refrigeration systems.
  • Able to perform remodeling and new construction projects as assigned by the Facilities manager.
  • Work independently and as a Facilities team member completing assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting.
  • Carry out any other department duties as assigned by supervisor, such as janitorial, landscaping and minor vehicle maintenance.
  • Required to be on-call one week per month.
  • Attend and participate in all Mission, Division and Department meetings and trainings, as required.
  • Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.

How you qualify
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Maintenance, Construction or a related field
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Possess a valid Washington State Driver's License and be able to meet the standards of the Mission driver criteria required, including but not limited to:
    • Clean driving record
    • No current suspensions or revocations
    • At least 21 years of age

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand or move around for long periods of time. Regularly be required to lift, sit, balance, twist, stoop, kneel and reach with hands/arms. Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and walk, use stairways to climb to multiple floors within the company. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
