Description
YOUR PURPOSE
Responsible for performing a variety of administrative, clerical and reception duties for employees, members, or visitors. As a first impression person, you are proactive, friendly and prompt to greet individuals upon their arrival, offering assistance and guidance. Receive and place telephone calls announcing guest arrivals as needed. Assist with other administrative functions or projects as assigned.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Responsible for a welcoming, friendly and effective performance in being the first point of contact for members, guests, vendors, employees and others.
- Meets, greets and directs members, visitors or employees courteously and promptly.
- Understands and complies with building safety and security protocols for guests, visitors and employees.
- Receives and screens telephone calls as needed and announces visitors. Answers questions or directs them to the appropriate employee or manager.
- Accepts deliveries and notifies employees of items awaiting retrieval.
- Support department administrative needs
- May perform clerical support duties such as mail processing or filing.
- Supports special assignments or serves as backup for various tasks as needed.
- Assists with questions and problems courteously and promptly.
- Maintains the Credit Union's professional reputation.

The full pay range for this position across all the states in which we hire is $16.62-$23.27/hourly. The figures shown represent the minimum and maximum of the range for this role. Individual offers are made dependent upon a candidate's experience, education, and skill level.

Requirements
Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge and experience of credit union's computer system for performing basic input/output tasks. Related work experience may substitute for education.

Able to multi-task and prioritize duties while maintaining a positive and professional appearance and manner with guests, employees and leaders
Comfortable sitting for long periods
Communicates effectively and in a friendly, polished manner
Remains positive and efficient when multi-tasking or juggling tasks while interacting with employees, members, guests and vendors
Competent, and able to use Microsoft products (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. Operates standard office equipment and tools including postage machine, fax machine, telephone and photocopier
Generally familiar with products and services offered and activities taking place that impact or involve the credit union
ABLE TOTo perform the essential functions of this position an employee must be able to meet the following workplace demands: the ability to converse with others, detect sound, identify and detect objects, count, read, write, operate a computer, handle and feel objects, reach with hands/arms and be stationary and/or stand and/or move for long periods of time. Occasionally an employee will lift/pull/push and carry up to 25 to 50 pounds, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and be able to maintain balance doing these activities. Position requires sound reasoning, good judgment and ability to apply knowledge toward work activities. The noise level is moderate and typical of a normal office environment.
