Summary:


The Industrial Outside Salesperson (Account Manager) represents CES to potential new and existing customers. The focus for this position is to drive market share growth with Industrial End Users, OEMs, System Integrators, and Industrial Contractors.


Reports to: Profit Center Manager


Minimum Qualifications:


+ Extensive, demonstrable knowledge of electrical products and their functions


+ Minimum 5 years sales experience - preferably in the Industrial market


+ Ability to travel to make sales calls across territory


+ Ability to comprehend, read, and communicate in English both orally and in writing


+ Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets CED required standards


+ Basic math skills including calculating percentages, decimals, and discount percentages.


Preferred Qualifications:


+ Proven success in Industrial B2B electrical sales


+ Experience selling Services and providing Value-Add Solutions to Industrial customers


+ Demonstrated acumen using a CRM like Salesforce


+ Knowledge and experience selling Automation and Control solutions


+ Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience


Working Conditions:


Conditions vary based on the customer location and may include construction, warehouse, manufacturing, office, or external environments. Some activities may include walking, standing, climbing in various conditions including extreme heat or cold. Essential functions will require travel to customer locations.

Essential Job Functions:


+ Research local market, analyze customer potential, and determine target accounts


+ Develop relationships with new and existing customers


+ Learn customer needs and expectations to provide solutions (including product and services) to grow market share


+ Work with a team of inside sales professionals, technical specialists, services BDL, and asset management professionals to maximize sales

Compensation Range:


The compensation range for this position is $55000 to $100000 annually.
