Job Description

Summary/objective

Use machines such as roll formers, polishing lathes, pneumatic presses, and vices to shape, shear and manipulate metal into desired output.   • Following work instructions, operate assigned machines to process material until desired outcome achieved
  • Inspect material within specified tolerances
  • Use hand tools and calipers to measure product
  • Track and log job operations
  • Maintain and ensure controlled material custody and tracking

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively


Work environment

Well-lit and clean with moderate noise level. Position may have direct contact with various metal materials as well as occasional chemical (Acetone) exposure during part cleaning.

Physical demands
  • Sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Fine hand motor manipulation
  • Ability to use hand and foot controls

Required education and experience
  • Basic math skills

Preferred education and experience
  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Familiarity of aerospace manufacturing standards

Additional eligibility requirements
  • Must have vision (natural or corrected) 20/30 or better
