Primary Responsibilities:

• Reflect the core values of Skurffy Werks LLC d.b.a. Home Instead of Spokane.
• Contribute to a positive living environment to enhance a clients quality of life.
• Maintain professional standards of communication and conduct with clients and other staff.
• Provide non-medical in-home care to our clients. Depending on the provided plan of care for a client, care may include some or all of the following tasks (this list is not exhaustive):
  • Companionship and conversation
  • Performing light housekeeping
  • Washing and ironing laundry
  • Meal Preparation and Kitchen Cleanup
  • Provide stabilization and assistance with walking
  • Provide medication reminders
  • Provide appointment reminders
  • Accompanying client on errands or appointments
  • Transportation to errands or appointments
  • Assisting with bathing and grooming
  • Assisting with toileting and incontinence issues
  • Advanced Alzheimers/Dementia Care
  • Hospice Care
