Description:

DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
Washington, DC | Full Time

About IAVA
IAVA's mission is to connect, unite, and empower post-9/11 veterans. We are a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization solely dedicated to improving the lives of the most recent generation of veterans. IAVA's work is designed to elevate post-9/11 veterans, shed light on their concerns, center their stories, and foster their leadership.

IAVA increases awareness in the media, on Capitol Hill, and among the public, leading the charge to change the landscape for veterans today. We represent the more than 3.5 million veterans who have served since 9/11. Though the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have ended, the repercussions of those wars on our servicemen and women have not. At a time when our veterans continue to lead and set an example of what it means to serve, IAVA works to ensure they have the infrastructure and support to navigate healthy, successful, and rewarding civilian lives.
