About the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream
In just over a year, the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream (MCAAD) will open its doors in Washington, DC to visitors from around the world. Our visitor center, based in beautiful and historic bank buildings across from the Treasury Department and White House and directly on Pennsylvania Ave, will contain interactive exhibits and state-of-the-art technology focused on the dynamic story of the American Dream. The Center will also host an extensive online community and gathering place that features virtual exhibits, inspirational and educational programming, exciting research about economic and social opportunities, and global competitions.

The Center's External Affairs Team seeks a dynamic, flexible, and experienced digital outreach and strategy professional to join our growing team. Reporting to the Senior Director of External Affairs, the Director of Digital Strategy will be part of a multidisciplinary leadership team and will lead the planning and execution of the Center's public-facing digital structure, online engagement, website, and content offerings that span in-gallery and online.
MCAAD's digital offerings will connect its physical home to global online audiences and help build reach and impact ahead of MCAAD's opening. The Director of Digital Strategy will be essential in driving the vision and execution of this work while working closely with the entire MCAAD team and Milken Institute's digital team.

This position will work in a professional office environment. This person will also be required to travel occasionally to other offices and/or venues to assist with events as needed, requiring occasional work outside of traditional hours. Additionally, this position requires interacting virtually on a regular basis with Milken Institute staff based in other locations in the United States.

This position will work a hybrid schedule consisting of three (3) days per week reporting in-person to your respective office location (Tuesday – Thursday), with the remaining two (2) days working remotely. Please understand, this schedule is subject to change in the Institute's sole discretion.
