The Manufacturing Manager, reporting to the General Manager, plays a vital role in orchestrating the achievement of operational objectives at Jetseal. This position is central to overseeing facility operations, including manufacturing, assembly, procurement, quality control, shipping, vendor management, and continuous improvement processes. Collaboration with department Supervisors ensures efficient and effective execution of activities while meeting schedule, quality, and cost targets. As a key member of Jetseal's leadership team, this role drives Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and initiatives that align with Jetseal's values.

- Manage day-to-day production activities and supervise staff to meet production requirements.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to production employees and supervisors, fostering talent development.
- Achieve and maintain company's on-time delivery goals.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and the leadership team to shape and sustain high-level company strategies and long-term vision.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet production schedule needs.
- Coordinate the effective implementation and management of lean practices throughout operations.
- Analyze production trend data to identify areas for efficiency improvement and production bottleneck mitigation.
- Interpret high-level financial data related to production to drive cost efficiencies and identify overruns.
- Manage tactical implementation and priorities of the Manufacturing Engineering group to achieve production objectives.
- Translate company-wide objectives into departmental tactical plans for overall performance achievement.
- Routinely deliver progress and production reports, including metrics dashboard, to the leadership team.
- Ensure departmental decisions and projects align with the company's business plan and vision, 13. Directly manage assigned personnel, overseeing employee relations, performance appraisals, discipline, termination, and career development.
- Assist in developing and implementing safety awareness programs, address safety issues, conduct safety-related investigations as needed, and communicate safety concerns.
- Collaborate with internal business areas, including Sales, Quality, Engineering, Accounting, and HR.
- Establish, implement, and enforce metrics and benchmarks for productivity, safety, delivery, and quality across all functions and deliverables, holding personnel accountable for their attainment.
Work environment Well-lit and clean with moderate noise level. Position may have direct contact with various metal materials as well as occasional chemical (Acetone) exposure during part cleaning.
Physical demands - Sit or stand for long periods of time.

Required education and experience - Previous Manufacturing and Management experience
- Experience working with manufacturing-based technology, processes and principles, including Lean manufacturing and project management practices, and understanding of influences on costs, gross margin, quality, and delivery required.
- Knowledge of ISO and OSHA, and other related legal and environmental regulations required. Experience working within the requirements of NADCAP processes preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and experience with enterprise resource planning system required.
Preferred education and experience - Previous Aerospace experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, operations management, or related field
- ASQ certified Six Sigma or Lean Green Belt, Black Belt, or Quality Engineer
Work authorization/security clearance requirements - Must be authorized to work in the US1
