JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking for an experienced pharmaceutical sales professional to join a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company as an Institutional and Specialty Sales Consultant supporting the inland and eastern PNW territory. In this role, the Sales Consultant will lead and drive sales activities within the cardio portfolio by developing, coordinating, and implementing a strategic business plan for top priority intuitions and Cardiologists in both institutional and community settings.


This is a full-time, permanent role with competitive salary, commission, and benefits. This role requires 50% travel within the geographic territory around Spokane, WA, so this individual must reside close to the territory.


Primary responsibilities include:

- Drive clinical demand, education and sales of assigned therapeutics

- Build a deep understanding of disease state, unmet needs and treatment options to effectively educate prospects on product benefits

- Build institutional advocacy to drive adoption of cardiovascular-renal brands

- Develop, co-create with external and internal stakeholders and implement strategic business plans for identified top strategic Institutions

- Build key business relationships within prioritized customers in the community and including key stakeholders at the Institutions (i.e., C and D Suite and Head of Pharmacy, Head of Quality), Cardiologists and Nephrologists

- Manage the P&T committee processes at the priority Institutions

- Understand and comply with pharmaceutical industry guidelines and regulations and apply high ethical standard in day-to-day work


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of prior pharmaceutical sales experience in the cardiovascular (CVD) and renal spaces
  • Experience launching new products and product indications
  • Experience selling in Institutions and clinic settings and navigating the P&T committee process
  • Ability to comply with any customer credentialing and safety requirements (e.g., up-to-date vaccinations, trainings)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required

Salary: $140,000-$210,000
