Tessera is seeking a motivated and hard working Operations Supervisor with a positive/helpful attitude.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Assist Manager in overseeing dining activities at Fairchild AFB dining facilities.
Assist Manager in ensuring all areas are–clean, sanitary, safe, and orderly and remains in a functional environment.
Assist Manager in ensuring quality service to meet the contract requirements.
Assist Manager in ensuring that Medical and Sanitation inspections are corrected on time and followed up on.
Conduct supply and equipment inventory of storage areas.
Make site visit with customers periodically and upon request.
Conduct inspections on completed work and operational equipment.
Maintain MSDS information for chemicals used at all dining facilities.
Work closely with the Chiefs and Culinary Specialists to ensure that contract requirements are being met.
Schedule dining facilities to ensure adequate service to meet the needs of the contract and adjust schedules when necessary.
Assist Manager in ensuring that the cashiers are accurate and aware of current responsibilities.
Counsel and train employees.
Resolve personnel issues/problems with assistance from Manager and Human Resources Representative.
Responsible for various schedules, training, attendance, various employee documentations, correct time keeping, and accident reports.
Assist in timekeeping for the employees.
Participate with rehabilitation staff in development and monitoring of individual evaluations, assessments and or training programs.
Responsible for the issue, turn in & securing of all government and tessera's keys/vehicles/phones.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
3 -5 Years experience in a supervisory role within the food service or hospitality industry is preferred.
Must be flexible and able to prioritize duties.
Consistently communicate with others in a courteous and helpful way.
You must be able to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers in a professional manner.
Must be able to follow verbal and/or written instructions. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have common computer program knowledge such as Word, Excel, Access and other business systems.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
