Primary Responsibilities:
Leads a portfolio of provider interoperability & engagement capabilities across the full life cycle, from inception through deployment and performance management
Develops and executes a comprehensive provider interoperability & engagement strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and regulatory requirements
Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and technology vendors, to drive interoperability initiatives
Defines technology needs and operational processes for Home & Community care teams to function as an extension of the provider practice
Leads effective leads change management practices with business & operations to ensure adoption of new capabilities & processes
Owns costs, benefit tracking, value realization of investments & capability performance of our provider interoperability capabilities & assets
Leads a team of capability managers developing & deploying use cases, business requirements, and workflows for new features & initiatives
Ensures business needs, use cases, and requirements are gathered and validated with cross-functional stakeholders
Evaluates and recommends sourcing (build v partner) options
Owns success metrics and performance manages our provider interoperability capabilities to those metrics, aggregating across businesses & operations
Owns business-level roadmaps that include market rollout and features expansion
Ensures all operational elements of a provider interoperability capability are understood and designed to meet business specifications
Articulates complex ideas in simple terms and use facts and logic to craft business recommendations
Collaborate with IT and healthcare teams to identify and address integration challenges and opportunities

Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience leading product development or delivery in a large-scale, highly matrixed environment
4+ years in a leadership role in provider or provider-facing organizations with a focus on EMR integrations and provider interoperability
Experience in delivering new initiatives and products within a provider practice setting
Experience in verbal and written communications and presentations at the executive level
Proficiency in interoperability standards and technologies such as HIEs, HL7 FHIR, and APIs
Proven track record of managing complex integration projects in a healthcare setting

The salary range for this role is $124,500 to $239,400 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
