Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Counseling or related field.
  • Licensure in Washington State as a Mental Health Counselor or Social Worker or Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • Meets Washington State licensing requirements as an approved clinical supervisor (WAC 246-809-134)
  • Meet requirements for Mental Health Professional credential.
  • Prior experience providing direct supervision and support.
  • Excellent organizational skills; communication skills; ability to process and analyze information effectively.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of staff members and to work with a diverse staff and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make ethical and safe decisions.
  • Ability to manage individual stress and perform essential job functions in a safe and professional manner.
  • Ability to pass criminal background check.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Valid state driver's license.
Responsibilities:

Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential responsibilities.
  • Works as part of interagency disciplinary supervisor team to assure all client (i.e., care coordination, crisis stabilization, family/peer support, recreation services) and staff training and supervision needs are addressed.
  • Oversees implementation of Behavioral Health Services amongst assigned Behavioral Health clinicians.
  • Coordinates with other members on the outpatient behavioral health leadership team to promote a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Ensures services provided are properly documented in accordance with program, agency, and regulatory requirements through regular chart audits and pulling reports.
  • Ensures Engagement Team is aware of available clinicians and assists in the assignment of caseloads.
  • Ensures regular supervision occurs with assigned clinicians; keeps up-to-date supervision records (date, duration, and topics); ensures supervision reflects and promotes agency values.
  • Complete Mental Health Assessments as needed for program enrollment.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation for 24/7 crisis services.
  • Assists in the onboarding process of new clinicians as it pertains to program services and case management.
  • Completes assigned and required duties in a timely manner.
  • Attends and actively participates in weekly meetings.
  • Completes all required training and demonstrates competence in skills necessary for role.
  • Is aware of and available to provide all WISe services as needed for additional support in periods of crisis.
  • Conducts necessary training for EWC staff as needed and directed by supervisor.
  • Represents organization in a professional manner at all meetings, internal and external.
  • Maintains professionalism and unity when communicating with clients, their families, and other representatives; preserves client confidentiality at all times.
  • Effectively represents Excelsior in the community, to include but not limited to the City of Spokane, the State of Washington and other venues as attended.
  • Adheres to ethical standards, organizational policy and procedures, mission, vision, and values.
