Role Overview

Due to our growth, SolidProfessor is hiring a Sr. Full Stack Engineer. You will work within a Pod-based team, driving technical excellence and delivering high-quality software solutions. This role involves technical leadership, mentorship, hands-on development, and process improvement. The ideal candidate is proactive, a problem-solver, and a mentor, committed to continuous improvement and aligning solutions with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Define and implement processes across all layers of the technology stack for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  2. Collaborate with Tech Leads and Engineers on large-scale project strategies from conception to deployment.
  3. Mentor junior engineers and support their career development.
  4. Deliver high-quality, tested, scalable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
  5. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
  6. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure technical decisions align with business goals.

Requirements for Success

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. Availability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm PT.
  3. 7+ years in enterprise software development.
  4. Extensive experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, OOP, SQL, and API development.
  5. Proficiency with PHP, Laravel, VueJS, testing frameworks, task runners, and WordPress.
  6. Experience with design systems, data visualization, and data structures.
  7. Leadership experience, familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and CI/CD pipelines.
  8. Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  9. Ability to learn new technologies and improve existing ones.

Additional Information

The annual salary range for this role is $113,000 to $143,900, based on experience and location. Our benefits include paid time off, community service days, parental leave, 401(k) match, and more. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
