About You

Our ideal candidate can envision the steps needed to accomplish and delegate civil engineering tasks. They think creatively and outside the box. We're seeking a supportive leader who prefers team success over individual glory.

We're looking for someone with:

  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field (required)
  • A Washington State PE license (or ability to obtain within six months)
  • 8+ years of experience in design, planning, and implementation of water resource and civil engineering projects
  • Increasing responsibility in project management, including scoping, client communication, invoicing, and managing others' work
  • Proficiency in reviewing the work of Engineers in Training
  • Enthusiasm for civil engineering, learning, and creative problem solving
  • Knowledge of rules and regulations informing design

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D, GIS, SWMM, HEC-RAS, SRH-2D, StormShed3G
  • Solid understanding of Washington State stormwater design and regulations
  • Active participation in industry organizations

About the Position

In this role, you'll collaborate with engineers and civil technicians to:

  • Provide project and task management support
  • Prepare reports, drawings, specifications, and other deliverables
  • Perform engineering calculations
  • Create hydrologic and hydraulic models
  • Conduct field work, data collection, and analysis
  • Coordinate with team members for project execution
  • Review work for quality and accuracy
  • Contribute positively to team culture and growth

This position is based in our Spokane office.

What We Offer

The salary range for Spokane-based employees is $110,000 - $170,000, depending on experience, skills, and location.
