About The Role

The Executive Director oversees and directs the daily operations of the community, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed. This role guarantees the highest quality of service for residents, maintains financial stability, and fosters a harmonious work environment for all team members.

Essential Job Duties

  1. Manage all community operations, develop policies, promote teamwork, and improve service quality through surveys and resident feedback.
  2. Collaborate with the Director of Sales to market the community and meet occupancy goals.
  3. Oversee finances, budgets, expenditures, and ensure compliance with policies and continuing education requirements.
  4. Ensure community safety and compliance with OSHA and safety policies, managing safety-related incidents.
  5. Recruit, evaluate, motivate, and monitor staff performance, including conducting evaluations and managing disciplinary actions.
  6. Arrange for department coverage during absences and train managers on duty.
  7. Represent the community professionally and interact with outside agencies, residents, and families.
  8. Conduct resident satisfaction surveys and implement improvements.
  9. Develop and manage budgets, seek cost reductions, and improve efficiencies.
  10. Ensure compliance with company standards and promote the organization's mission, vision, and values.
  11. Maintain high personal appearance standards and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  1. 8+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, senior living, healthcare, or related fields.
  2. High School Diploma or GED; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  3. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and be available during peak times.
  4. Valid driver's license and ability to operate community vehicles.
  5. Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
  6. Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office Suite.
