Job Description:

The Enterprise Communications Services 3 (ECS3) program supports our intel customer across its many operating locations. Our focus is to help the organization technically transform its current services by leading edge technology insertions. To accomplish this, we are charged with development of new designs, its implementation, and operation of the new and or enhanced services. Over the life of the contract, we will drive continual service improvement by tech modernization for our (LANs), wide area networks (WAN), unified communication (UC), Video telecommunication and Streaming services.

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lead LAN/WAN Engineer who will provide expert design, analysis, research, and operation support to exceptionally complex networking problems and processes. The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast-paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts.

More About the Role:

In this role, the Lead LAN/WAN Engineer will be responsible for:

• Serving as a leader in the local- and wide-area networking; highly sought by others for advice and guidance.
• Serving as a technical expert on established and ad-hoc project teams providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives on existing and new services to meet both architectural and operational needs.
• Providing expertise in Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, and Communications and Network Systems Management.
• May manage small teams of engineers and related technical staff such as cyber specialists and testers.
• Providing insight into cutting edge technologies, integrations, and capabilities.
• Consulting with other engineers, team leads, or customer stakeholders on requirements, technical direction.
• Providing expertise on, deep knowledge of, and hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, F5, Aruba, Ruckus, Versa, NOM, NetScout and/or related network components or network monitoring and management tools.
• Providing deep expertise on BGP, OSPF, Tunnels (GRE, pseudowire, VPN, L2TP), Spine and Leaf and BGP Peering.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

• IAT II, (or Industry Equivalent)
• CCNP minimum, preferred is CCIE router & switch written exam (or industry equivalent)
• TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain a polygraph
• Bachelor's Degree + 10 years of experience

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$95,500-$210,100
