Job Description

Design Verification Engineers at Apple verify the functionality and performance of Apple's premier SOCs. This critical role within Apple's Hardware Technology involves:

1. Collaborating with all teams (vertical product model) to ensure quality of SOCs, IPs, or subsystems.
2. Reviewing design and architecture specifications.
3. Working closely with design and micro-architecture teams.
4. Understanding functional and performance goals to develop effective test plans, coverage plans, and verification methodologies.
5. Communicating and collaborating with design, architecture, and software teams to understand use cases and corner conditions.
6. Driving test case development, running regressions, tracking bugs, and analyzing coverage to achieve top results.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer architecture and digital design fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Verilog or SystemVerilog, digital simulation, and debugging.
• Experience with Python, Perl, or similar scripting languages.
• Ability to work independently to meet project goals.
• Experience with C/C++, with assembly being a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for tackling diverse challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of a BS degree plus 0 years of relevant industry experience.

Pay & Benefits

Base pay ranges from $115,700 to $174,200 annually, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
