Quality Assurance Inspector I

Since 1971, Monaco Enterprises, Inc., a Spokane based manufacturer of fire, mass notification and emergency management systems, has been a world-wide industry leader with our proprietary customer solutions.

Work with moderate supervision inspecting materials and products according to Monaco specifications, standards, and drawings and use of IPC standards. Recommend disposition and corrective action when necessary.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Inspection of product to workmanship standards (IPC-610) using appropriate tools
• Ability to read Fabrication drawings, Engineering Assembly drawings and Bills of Materials
• Ability to use various types of measurement tools
• Follow written and verbal instruction
• Write Supplier Corrective Actions
• Perform first article inspections
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of ERP systems

Qualifications:

• Prefer AA degree in basic electronics or equivalent
• 1-3 years QA experience in electronics, quality control or manufacturing
• Occasional lift/carry or push/pull up to 70 lbs

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment

The employee is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee will constantly be required to handle/grasp with a 20% pinch grasp or 80% whole hand grasp; hear and see. Occasionally an employee will lift/carry or push/pull up to 70 pounds and frequent lifting up to 30 pounds; crouch/kneel, bend/twist at the waist, climb stairs, talk, and fine finger manipulation.Physical agility required for working in and around various sizes of large product enclosures and computers.
