Job Description
Job Title: Advanced Practice Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Specialty: Nurse Anesthetist

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day - 8x5, flexible scheduling with 8-12 hour days

Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours

Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified

License: Not specified

Certifications: ACLS, PALS

Must-Have:
- Certified by the relevant board
- Availability for at least six months
- Minimum of three shifts per week
- Potential to work at a satellite facility 15 minutes away

Job Description:

- Work in a high-volume, high-acuity, and fast-paced surgical environment
- Engage in head and spine surgeries, with no requirement for cardiac, complex ortho, complex vascular, neuro, OB, pediatric, regional, or thoracic surgery
- Required skills include general, adult, pediatric, neonatal (preferred), and spinal anesthesia
- Management of ventilation, evaluation, and management of acute volume/BP issues is not required
- Preferred skills include arterial line placement and complex vascular and orthopedic cases
- No requirement for post-op epidurals, extremity blocks, epidural steroids, transforaminal, lumbar, or cervical anesthesia
- No use of x-ray guidance in the performance of blocks is needed
- Shared responsibilities across primary and satellite facilities

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days

Facilities involved are zero trauma level and have no special pediatric level requirements.
