Job Overview

The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for managing maintenance services, vendor relationships, and administrative processes that ensure our facilities run efficiently and effectively.

What You'll Do

  • Manage, schedule, and purchase maintenance services, and store equipment supplies.
  • Establish vendor and store relationships to determine vendor expertise for repairs.
  • Research equipment costs, contact vendors, create, track, handle and submit Purchase Orders for the purchase of equipment.
  • Receive and process work orders and vendor invoices through our CMMS system.
  • Organize and schedule maintenance contractors to perform various duties required to keep maintenance operations running smoothly.
  • Hire cleaning services, electricians, plumbers, and HVAC professionals as well as schedule and manage their work orders.
  • Manage the maintenance budget and handle payments for maintenance services and necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Support an in-house maintenance staff, providing administrative assistance to the Facilities Director.
  • Manage work orders, communicating with store managers and departments regarding maintenance work needed, handling purchases and working with outside vendors.
  • Manage day-to-day upkeep for business operations generating work orders and managing lawn care services. Act as the point of contact for daily repair problems.
  • Ensure that equipment or tools are ready for technicians and keep track of preventative maintenance tasks. Serve as a checkpoint for quality and compliance.
  • Coordinate contract maintenance staff including refrigeration Systems, cleaning services, electricians, plumbers, and HVAC providers.
  • Manage submitted work orders and communicate with tenants and internal departments.
  • Handle purchasing of cleaning supplies, equipment, and other maintenance items while adhering to budget requirements.
  • Receive and process work orders, purchases orders and vendor invoices.
  • Track and data entry capital expenditures for input into the budget cycle.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements
  • Candidates must be 18+ years or older
  • Complete a pre-employment background check
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Proficient using CMMS Software (Preferred)
  • Project Management Expense Tracking experience

Salary Description

$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
