As a Senior Data Engineer, you will enhance and maintain our data warehouse and pipeline infrastructure, ensuring system reliability and performance to support data-driven decisions and analytics growth. This role is ideal for a self-starter thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain a user-centric approach to feature development
  2. Address ambiguous problems with clear, achievable solutions
  3. Maintain and improve our data warehouse for evolving business needs
  4. Collaborate with diverse teams leveraging AI/LLM technologies
  5. Enable advanced analytics, including real-time and batch processing
  6. Optimize data pipeline scalability and performance
  7. Implement monitoring, alerting, and self-healing mechanisms

Qualifications:

  • Experience shipping customer-facing features like reports and analytics
  • Proficiency with data warehouse software and cloud services (SQL, Redshift, AWS CDK, Meltano)
  • Strong SQL skills for performance and efficiency
  • Ability to collaborate with design and product teams to build user-delighting features
  • Humility with a strong point of view
  • Thrives in collaborative, inclusive environments
  • Start-up experience is a plus
