Supply Chain Coordinator

Description:

Northwest Orthopaedic Specialist is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. The Supply Chain Coordinator supports all NWOS entities by managing the ordering, receiving, and delivery of supplies at the lowest possible cost. Serving as a key point of contact for internal and external customers, this role ensures effective communication and coordination across teams to meet Supply Chain Management goals.

NWOS is closed on weekend, nights, and holidays. This is a full time position, M-F.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • 1. It is the expectation of all NWOS employees to demonstrate and uphold all 19 NWOS Fundamentals.
    2. Contributes to surgery center survey readiness as it relates to Supply Chain Logistics.
    3. Scans and inventories Pars, then submits orders to Vendors, check confirmations.
    4. Receiving, opening and staging supplies for delivery.
    5. Shipping product out.
    6. Resolves shipping problems.
    7. Provides information to end users and suppliers.
    8. Ensures all deliveries are inspected for shipping errors, improper handling or quality issues.
    9. Properly handles frozen tissue.
    10. Performs Submit to Usage functions.
    11. Submits After The Fact (ATF) POs, getting updated pricing when needed.
    12. Submit implant sheet with pricing to TOSC scheduler.
    13. De-lint Green Towels
    14. Maintain the Vision software to support DME and Visco inventory management.
    15. Manage DME products including setting par levels, placing orders and stock supplies at each office.
    16. Develop and analyze DME inventory reports.
    17. Manage Visco products including setting Par levels, placing orders, and stock supplies.
    18. Check expiration dates on Visco products.
    19. Perform monthly cycle counts on all DME and Visco Pars.
    20. Pull cases for Surgeries
    21. Submit Aetna Insurance patients charge sheets to MyInsight for billing
    22. Stock clean linen.
    23. Place linen order every weekday
    24. Stock and maintain scrubs and towels in locker rooms.
    25. Check and/or take Operating Room garbage to the dumpster.
    26. Pick up dirty linen from MRI
    27. Supports the NWOS Recall process.
    28. Supports all NWOS clinics to include managing Pars and delivering of supplies.
    29. Complies with the Financial Authority Policy when placing orders
    30. Report deficiencies and recommend areas for improvement to management
    31. Assist other Support Services team members where needed
    32. Conducts self in accordance with current NWOS employee handbook and policies and procedures
    33. Employee follows through on commitments, meets time requirements, and quickly responds to requests.
    34. Maintains a clean and safe work area
    35. Complies with NWOS standard training for HIPAA, skills review, EHR proficiency and other education as deemed necessary Administration. Must comply with annual skills review
    36. Demonstrates initiative, seeks additional responsibility as able; works through challenges and adjusts to unexpected changes
    37. Perform other duties as necessary or as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred experience in a medical setting
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving generally practiced protocols
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain specific software
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
