Production Worker

Job Description

As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for sorting, lifting, catching, and packaging tiles while ensuring quality control. Your tasks will include stacking tiles from a pallet onto a conveyor and performing cleaning duties when the line is not in operation, such as sweeping and spraying the line down with a hose. Be prepared for a messy environment where you will get wet and dirty.

Responsibilities

• Sort, lift, catch, and package tiles while inspecting for quality control.

• Stack tiles from a pallet onto a conveyor.

• Perform cleaning tasks when the line is not running, including sweeping and spraying with a hose.

• Count stacks of tiles, placing them on the line in groups of ten.

• Regularly lift and move objects up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.

• Maintain exceptional attendance, reliability, and performance.

Essential Skills

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Experience working around large machines and equipment.

• Ability to solve practical problems using logic.

• Self-sufficient under general supervision.

• Comfortable working in a dirty environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record of exceptional attendance and reliability.

• Ability to perform constant repetitive movements such as twisting, bending, kneeling, and crouching.

• Experience in assembly, packaging, and inspection.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
