Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Vice President of Business Development, located in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area. The Vice President of Business Development will be responsible for leading and executing the company's business development strategy, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and overseeing proposal development and contract negotiations. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams to align business development efforts with company goals and objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, strategic planning, and market analysis
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Experience in the defense, aerospace, or security industries
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with government and industry stakeholders
• Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations
• Defense sales experience in radars and sensing technology domains
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or related advanced degree is a plus
• Ability to maintain a DoD clearance
• Ability to work on-site in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area
