Location: Liberty Lake, WA

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

Salary Range: $90,000–$130,000/year

What You'll Do

Leadership & Vision

• Lead the school's Cognia accreditation journey—laying the groundwork, aligning systems, and modeling excellence.
• Ensure Washington State compliance across transcripts, credits, and graduation requirements.
• Build a master schedule that prioritizes project-based learning, innovation, and real-world readiness.
• Represent the school to prospective families, local partners, and community leaders.
• Foster a culture of grit, collaboration, and continuous improvement, inspiring both students and staff to pursue growth.

Staff Development & School Culture

• Hire, mentor, and empower a team of purpose-driven educators.
• Create a culture of ongoing feedback, team-driven collaboration, and shared ownership.
• Lead weekly PD sessions and bring in experts from across the MØDE campus to inspire cross-disciplinary learning.
• Build a joyful, high-accountability culture grounded in mutual respect, hard work, and innovation.

Curriculum, Technology & AI Integration

• Oversee academic coherence and experiential learning across all grade levels.
• Champion the integration of AI and other emerging technologies to deepen student learning.
• Collaborate with staff to refine instruction and embed innovation into every classroom.
• Engage actively in the learning process—not just as an observer, but as a co-learner and mentor.
• Partner with coaches and community partners to develop elite athletic programs that promote excellence, resilience, and leadership.
• Leverage MØDE's athletic amenities—including CrossFit, wrestling, and jiu-jitsu facilities—to create a competitive edge.
• Position athletics as a powerful tool for student growth and school distinction.

Family, Student & Community Engagement

• Handle Tier 2 and Tier 3 behavioral and academic issues with empathy, clarity, and firm support.
• Build strong, trust-filled relationships with families through open communication and transparency.
• Lead engaging school events and family nights that foster unity and shared purpose.

Operations & Community Integration

• Build systems that support innovation, flexibility, and operational efficiency.
• Participate in daily school operations—arrival, lunch, recess, dismissal—with enthusiasm and presence.
• Serve as a collaborative leader within the greater MØDE ecosystem, connecting the school to opportunities across business, wellness, and the arts.

What You Bring

• A growth mindset and belief that the best schools are built, not bought.
• Experience in school leadership, curriculum design, or academic program management.
• Visionary energy and operational discipline to lead a school inside a vibrant community hub.
• Familiarity with Cognia accreditation, state standards, and transcript management (or willingness to learn).

• A strong background or interest in athletic development and its impact on student growth.
• Excellent communication skills, relational intelligence, and a talent for uniting diverse teams.
