Supply Chain Associate

Location: 3808 N Sullivan Rd, Spokane Valley, WA 99216

Store: IDLEW Public Store

Part-time Shift(s): MON, TUE, WED, THU, FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm

Up to 28 hours/week

Overview:

Join us as a Part-time Supply Chain Associate, where you'll engage in inventory management and support B2B operations through procurement, sourcing, and quoting functions to meet customer needs and foster business success. After onboarding and training, a flexible schedule may be available.

Responsibilities:

• Manage branch inventory levels
• Handle procurement activities, including purchase orders and backorders
• Estimate and quote prices, source products
• Coordinate resources to address customer supply chain needs
• Support accounts receivable activities
• Make deliveries using a company vehicle as needed
• Perform additional duties to ensure branch success

Required Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales, or related field, or relevant work experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in computer skills
• Motivated, self-directed, customer service-oriented
• Strong math skills, attention to detail, sense of urgency
• Organized, able to prioritize and plan effectively
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Aligns with core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
• Ability to lift packages weighing 25-75 lbs
• Pass drug screening as applicable

Training & Development:

Participate in Fastenal's School of Business with on-the-job, online, instructor-led, and virtual training to develop skills for success and growth within the company.
