We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and optimization of our state-of-the-art facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum uptime, efficiency, and availability while adhering to industry best practices and regulatory compliance standards. This is a critical role that demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.

S/he will build relationships with service providers and work with them to manage the critical electrical and mechanical systems within facilities. Responsibilities include responding to emergent failures, managing and mitigating risks, tracking all daily maintenance of critical equipment, evaluating supplier service performance, and driving improvements based on operational data. S/he will also collaborate with internal teams such as procurement to improve SLA terms or strategies.

1. Responsible for critical facility operations.
2. Manage changes to critical systems, respond to emergent failures, and track preventative maintenance.
3. Manage capacity of facility systems including power and cooling.
4. Manage availability risks of facility systems and drive resolution.
5. Drive and implement projects to improve capacity, efficiency, and reliability of current facility systems.
6. Support IT managers on their projects and operations.
7. Support design and project teams during new construction and commissioning.
8. Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of critical facility operations and maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of critical facility management or operation experience in large-scale facilities, or over 5 years of large-scale production facility management experience.
3. Knowledge of MEP equipment such as UPS, generators, chillers, pumps, and cooling towers.
4. Commitment to maintaining a safety and high-efficiency work environment.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
6. High attention to detail and proactive risk resolution.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in electrical, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
2. Over 5 years of critical facility management experience.
3. Deep expertise in one of the MEP equipment areas.
4. Project management skills.
5. Team management experience.
6. Experience in safety evaluation and safety improvement projects.
7. Knowledge of Lean or Kaizen methodologies and experience applying them.
8. Proficiency in Mandarin and English, with ability to communicate effectively in both languages.

The salary range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $142,000 and $234,000 per year. The actual offer may vary based on individual factors such as market location, skills, and experience. This position is at-will, and the company reserves the right to modify compensation and other terms at any time.
