Job Description
Compass Government Solutions is seeking a Network Dissemination Coordinator (NDC) to support Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence (TBICoE) at Joint Base Lewis–McChord (JBLM), Tacoma, WA.

Position Summary:
Provide TBI education for healthcare providers and members of the healthcare team involved in the care of service members and veterans with traumatic brain injury. Coordinate with government leads and the contract Network Dissemination Coordinator to deliver education programs to service members, veterans, families, and the community on TBI prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation. This role involves local and regional support, requiring coordination with TBICOE HQ government leads.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing TBI educational initiatives for healthcare teams.
  • Ensure healthcare providers are aware of and understand new clinical care standards for TBI, including TBICoE Clinical Recommendations and VA/DoD Guidelines.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to provide educational opportunities for multidisciplinary teams caring for military and veterans with TBI.
  • Deliver education programs and information on TBI to service members, veterans, families, and civilians.
  • Develop education programs tailored for healthcare providers.
  • Provide consultation on TBI educational issues at military and veteran sites.
  • Conduct outreach within the region to promote TBI education and TBICOE programs.
  • Serve as a resource for TBI information and education within the TBICOE network and region.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a health-related or clinical field.
  • At least 2 years of experience teaching healthcare or related topics.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in TBI patient care in inpatient, outpatient, or rehabilitation settings.
  • Experience within DoD/VA systems preferred.
  • Experience developing and teaching healthcare education and training activities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare for TBI patients.
  • Strong communication skills: public speaking, facilitation, interpersonal skills, networking, collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with educational software and hardware.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Creativity, flexibility, adherence to ethical standards, confidentiality, and privacy.

Physical Capabilities: Sit and stand for extended periods, carry light items up to 25 lbs, and handle patients who may be confused or agitated.

Work Environment: Office, community, and clinical settings with local, regional, and national travel required.
