Job Overview:
Search Solution Group is seeking a Sr. Business Development Manager on behalf of our client, a leading global supplier of highly engineered triggers, pumps, sprayers, and dispensing closure solutions. Based in Spokane, WA, this role is critical to expanding contract manufacturing business opportunities and leading strategic sales initiatives. The Sr. Business Development Manager will play a key role in shaping the company's growth plan, overseeing sales operations, managing business development staff, and driving long-term customer partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and analyze contract manufacturing market segments, customer bases, and industries targeted for promotion.
  
• Support the development and execution of strategic growth plans and annual sales objectives.
  
• Hire, train, and manage staff to secure new clients and maintain strong communication and coaching for continued success.
  
• Develop, update, and report on monthly sales forecasts and client orders.
  
• Grow business through strong relationships with existing clients and identification of new opportunities.
  
• Ensure effective use of CRM systems, including reporting and customer data analysis.
  
• Lead collaboration between Business Development and Program Management to ensure smooth project transitions.
  
• Partner with Marketing to align revenue growth strategies and shared initiatives.
  
• Oversee quoting processes, ensuring accuracy of customer program proposals.
  
• Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, OSHA, and all applicable regulatory guidelines.
  
• Lead, motivate, and direct cross-functional teams to achieve departmental and corporate goals.
  

Requirements include:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in Business Development or Sales, preferably in contract manufacturing or similar markets.

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple projects; strong communication, research, and analytical skills.

Knowledge:

• Understanding of GMP regulations preferred; experience in pharmaceutical or personal care manufacturing a plus; proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM databases.
