Surface Experts is a growing franchise committed to supporting its team. We seek an accounting clerk / bookkeeper passionate about helping small businesses succeed.

Responsibilities

• Providing bookkeeping services and basic accounting guidance to franchisees
• Reviewing transactions and categorizing them according to our chart of accounts
• Recording customer payments and maintaining accounts receivable
• Reconciling bank and credit card accounts monthly
• Performing quarterly reconciliations between our software and QuickBooks
• Assisting new franchise owners with QuickBooks setup and integration
• Ensuring books are maintained according to GAAP
• Meeting with franchisees for transaction clarification and QuickBooks training
• Supporting franchisees in financial literacy and accounting practices

Requirements

Candidate must have familiarity with GAAP, strong organizational skills, and comfort with technology and software. A Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or 2+ years of relevant experience is required. Opportunities for advancement are available for proactive employees.

Compensation & Perks

Additional Details
