Reports to: Supervisor/Plant Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Hourly Rate Range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Shift: Day Shift 5:00am to 3:30pm M-F

Swing shift hours 3:30pm to 2:00am M-F

Specific Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions

1. Maintains control of all material, including that supplied by customers.
2. Receives incoming materials, keeps yard organized.
3. Ensures receiving counts match purchase order documents, assist in resolving discrepancies.
4. Loads and unloads various types of freight from incoming deliveries.
5. Carries out material acceptance inspections, refers concerns to Quality Control if needed.
6. Receives and stores incoming materials as required, ensuring quantity, lot numbers, expiration dates and any other pertinent information that may apply to associated paperwork (work orders, packing slips, bills of lading, etc.)
7. Checks bunker inventory on a weekly basis (entire yard covered at least every 2 months)
8. Uses material handling equipment, safely and efficiently, to transport products to shipping locations or delivery platforms.
9. Reports and equipment damage or malfunction to supervisor or maintenance.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
• Attention to details.
• Forklift and Crane experience.
• Can follow processes and procedures.
• Adaptable to different environments.
• Function effectively as part of a team.
• Clean pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
• Clean background screening that includes previous employment, education, criminal history and driving record verification.

• Work is performed in the fabrication shop and outdoors in inclement weather.
• Some lifting required less than 50lbs.
• Hours outside of scheduled shift will be necessary as workload dictates. This may include weekends.
