Location: Bremerton (this is not a remote job)
FSLA Status: Exempt
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, day shift (four ten-hour days)
Pay: $90K - $120K DOE

Why we need you and what you will be responsible for:
As a growing high-performance boat builder, SAFE Boats International needs help taking our company to the next level! You will lead Information Systems (IS) activities in planning, implementation, security, and maintenance of all enterprise computer software systems to ensure a cohesive and integrated data environment and compliance with government security requirements. You will work closely with all internal business units to ensure data systems provide timely, accurate, and necessary information to all team members and promote engagement through training and user support tools. You will also support SAFE Boats' ERP system as a Subject Matter Expert and oversee the IT team, maintaining alignment with IS and company priorities.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing information systems for SAFE Boats.
- Developing and implementing information security policies, procedures, and systems.
- Ensuring compliance with U.S. Government security standards including NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC 2.0.
- Conducting team member training and testing.
- Providing strategic input regarding the company's information systems.
- Identifying business needs, gathering requirements, developing plans, and guiding system implementation and maintenance.
- Developing strategies for data migration and integration with legacy platforms.
- Managing systems such as CAD, PDM, PLM, ERP, CRM, shop-floor automation, maintenance, ticketing, collaboration tools, and others.
Providing expertise in data structure and management, policy development for data storage, and managing contractors involved in IS efforts.
- Coordinating hardware, software, and service purchases/subscriptions with the Purchasing Department.
- Managing the annual IS budget, monitoring spending, and executing capital expenditure plans.
- Preparing reports on KPIs for senior management.
- Supervising IS/IT department team members.
- Performing business process analysis and developing workflows and reporting.
- Creating user documentation and training guidelines, and providing training to team members.
Managing SBI IT infrastructure, including desktops, network, servers, and shared services.
Core skills, experience, and education:
- Must be a US citizen due to Government Contract requirements.
- Strong communication, technical skills, and ability to lead teams.
- Creative, practical problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum five years' experience in information systems security, implementation, and administration.
- Experience with ERP systems, especially maintaining and implementing them.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
