Industrial Painter

About the Position:

Responsible for a variety of tasks in the painting process of manufacturing custom air handling units. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Be proficient in reading and understanding prints
• Ability to identify and fix defects in the painting process, including bondoing and patching
• Ability to prime and paint all units and parts
• Ability to maintain spray foam and paint guns
• Ability to troubleshoot complex problems with spray foam and paint guns and come up with a workable solution
• Ability to perform quality checks on all paint jobs
• Other duties as assigned

• Comfort with using ladders

Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years of industrial paint experience

Physical Demands

• Required to stand and is frequently required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and climb or balance.
• Frequent walking, reaching with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, will frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and will occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Safely operate large equipment, paint tools, and rigging.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work in various positions, such as crouching, kneeling, and lying down

Pay is dependent on experience
