Project Manager – Steel Erection

Are you a Project Manager with steel erection experience?

We're seeking a Project Manager to oversee large-scale structural steel erection projects from planning to completion. If you're a decisive leader who excels at managing field crews, schedules, and subcontractors while ensuring safety and quality, this is your opportunity!

Your Role:

As a Steel Erection Project Manager, you'll be the driving force behind successful field operations, coordinating between general contractors, erectors, engineers, and fabrication teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee erection schedules, crew coordination, and job site logistics
• Manage subcontractors, field crews, and safety compliance
• Coordinate with fabrication shops to ensure timely material delivery
• Lead pre-construction meetings and resolve on-site challenges
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders
• Ensure OSHA and industry safety standards are met
• Track project budgets, progress, and client reporting

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years in steel erection or construction project management
• Strong understanding of erection sequencing, rigging, and field operations
• Ability to read steel shop drawings and coordinate with fabricators
• Experience managing subcontractors and field crews
• Willingness to travel to job sites (occasional overnight stays)
