Join to apply for the Distribution Center Shipping Associate role at NAPA Auto Parts .Responsibilities include staging products by trip/route number and location, using electronic scanners to record each piece, and loading trucks for outgoing shipments, while following safety protocols including hazardous materials handling.Position Performance Measures Process designated orders by scheduled departure times, ensuring all UPS shipments are processed and shipped on time.Responsibilities Record and ship products, load onto trucks by store location for overnight shipments.Consolidate orders from zone to store using tote and pull wall processes.Prepare and reconcile all overnight UPS shipments.Load daily/nightly shipments as required.Ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Comply with all company policies and procedures.Experience, Education, Abilities, and Working Conditions High School Diploma or equivalent required.6 months prior work experience preferred but not required.Forklift certification required.Working conditions may be noisy, involve varied climates, and exposure to outside elements near loading docks.Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, push/pull up to 300 lbs with aids, and reach shelves up to eight feet.Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.This position offers a starting hourly rate of $21.50, with potential pay progression within 12 months.
