Job Description

Summary/objective

Shipping Associates will be responsible for accurately picking and packing of customers' orders to their specifications. Maintain excellent service by following organization standards of quality, and national standards of shipping best-practices. Associates will assist the Inventory Specialist with monthly and yearly inventories. The hours for this role are from 6am-4:30pm Monday through Thursday.

  • Process product orders in a timely manner and with accuracy
  • Lift and move product and packaging up to 50lbs
  • Assist with month and year end inventories
  • Ensure count and product description accuracy to shipping order

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Work environment

Well-lit and clean with moderate noise level. Position may have direct contact with various metal materials. Occasional exposure to environment outside of the facility.

Physical demands
  • Sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Required education and experience
  • Basic math skills
  • Legible hand writing
Preferred education and experience
  • Previous shipping/receiving/warehouse experience
