POSITION

The Site-Civil Engineer will be responsible for the engineering design and construction oversight of site-specific infrastructure projects such as residential, commercial, industrial, or mixed-use developments. The primary responsibility is to take the overall site development plan and translate it into detailed engineering drawings needed for construction. During the construction phase, the engineer will provide oversight and support during implementation. These responsibilities include:

  • Work with the client and project team to interpret the overall site development plan and translate it into detailed engineering drawings.
  • Manage project tasks including technical report writing and coordination with multidisciplinary teams, architects, and clients.
  • Assess the suitability of the site for development.
  • Design and plan infrastructure such as roads, utilities, drainage systems, and grading.
  • Navigate regulatory requirements and obtain necessary permits.
  • Oversee the development engineering design process from conception to completion.
  • Develop cost estimates and manage budgets.
  • Provide construction administration services during the construction phase.
  • Work with the Operations Manager to identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.

YOUR STRENGTHS

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, or equivalent ABET-accredited engineering program
  • Minimum of 4+ years of demonstrated experience with site development engineering project design work. Experience in site-civil engineering design for architectural clients is preferred.
  • Engineer-In-Training (EIT) professional designation required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain it after hire
  • Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software related to roadway, utilities, and grading design
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and insurable record for travel
