We have a new career opportunity for a Principal Civil Engineer on the Development Review team. This position involves performing complex professional and administrative work in applying engineering services to various Public Works planning, development, and design projects. The role serves as a lead reviewer for large, high-profile development projects in the city, coordinating Public Works reviews on predevelopment submissions to ensure compliance with city standards and determining public improvement requirements for permit projects. Responsibilities include reviewing plans for right of way, water and sewer, stormwater management, and sediment control, handling technical issues, ensuring legal and policy adherence, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines under the guidance of the Engineering Supervisor.
