Weekends are required every other weekend. Block schedules are required. Expected ratios depend on acuity. Special requirements include floor care, ER, code response, and rapid response. Description: The position requires a professional with a minimum of two years of experience. This role involves floating between various units as needed. The staff member must expect to work weekends on an every-other-weekend basis. Block scheduling will be utilized. The ratios of patients to staff will depend on patient acuity levels. Candidates must be prepared for special responsibilities, including floor care, emergency room duties, code response, and rapid response situations. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. Supervisory references covering at least one year in a comparable specialty/setting are required. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Modules may be required, and hours spent on them are self-reported. The position includes a 40-hour orientation that is non-billable.
