Salary Range: $80,631 (min) to $112,887. The starting salary depends on education, experience, and skills.

Job Summary: EWU is seeking a skilled, team-oriented applicant for the position of Director of Communications and Media Relations. This key role, within the Advancement division and reporting to the Associate VP for University Relations, serves as the university's chief communications and public information officer and primary media contact. Responsibilities include overseeing community/media relations, managing crisis communications, and developing multi-platform content. The Director supports various units within the division and contributes to the university's mission and strategic priorities, enhancing visibility internally and externally. The role also involves advising senior leadership.
